Care South is seeking an Activities Assistant for St Ives House in Ringwood. The role involves delivering a varied programme of social activities for residents, including those living with dementia, and assisting with event planning to promote wellbeing and community.
You will be a warm, energetic communicator who helps residents stay engaged, supported by a friendly team in a home environment. Flexible hours, with weekend work, 32 hours per week.

Pay: £12.85 per hour
Hours: 32 hours per week, to include alternate weekend working
Shift Pattern: Flexible working hours between 9:00am - 6:00pm
We have an exciting opportunity for an Activities Assistant to join the team at St Ives House, our residential care home, located in Ringwood, Dorset.
In this role you will be responsible for helping to plan and deliver an ongoing programme of social activities for the home’s residents.
You’re a warm, energetic, and outgoing individual who enjoys engaging with people and creating meaningful experiences. You have excellent communication skills and a natural ability to connect with individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
With strong time management and organisational abilities, you’re able to plan and coordinate multiple activities while adapting to changing needs.
You thrive in a team environment, bringing positivity and collaboration to everything you do.
