Billy, 16, in Purley CR8, is seeking a part-time Support Worker to join a welcoming family. You will support a lively young man with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy, encouraging independence, personal care and participation in community activities.

Shifts include Monday, Thursday afternoons and Saturday mornings with travel by company vehicle. Experience with moving and handling is essential; a friendly, proactive approach and reliability are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting teenagers with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy.
• Ability to confidently support moving and handling and community activities.
• Female applicants only (gender requirement).

Responsibilities

• Encourage independence and personal care for Billy.
• Engage in after-school and weekend activities in home and community.
• Support moving, handling and safe participation in activities.
