Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking enthusiastic Female Support Workers in Rainham, Essex to provide 2:1 support to a young woman with an ABI. You will help her stay active, engaged in community activities, and maintain routine and structure within two family homes and in the community.

The role requires patience, positivity, confidence and a good sense of humor, with a focus on dignity and person-centred care. A full UK driving licence is essential and DBS induction training are provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to support a young adult with ABI and behavioural moments.
• Patience, empathy and a person-centred approach are essential.
• Ability to stay calm and reassuring in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2:1 support across two family homes and community.
• Encourage independence, routine and community participation.
• Support with daily activities and personal care as needed.
