Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) in Carterton. You will sort letters and parcels at the delivery office, then deliver by van and on foot within your local area, building relationships with customers.

The role is outdoors in all weather, with a rotating shift pattern and some weekend work. Full UK manual licence required; driving assessments and training provided. 37 hours weekly across 5 days in 7, with paid overtime potential.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence held for car usage.
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills, and lift/carry 10kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable and self-motivated with strong organisational skills.
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service.
