Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Biggleswade is hiring a Postie (Delivery Driver) on a fixed-term 9-month contract. You will work 30 hours per week across five days in seven, including Sundays, in rotating shifts. The role includes driving a Royal Mail van, delivering letters and parcels, and serving customers in the local area.

Full training, a uniform, and a red Royal Mail van are provided. You must hold a full manual UK driving licence, be physically fit, and pass a driving assessment. Overtime is paid.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence required.
• Ability to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and capable of walking long distances and lifting mailbags.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in the local area.
• Build relationships with customers and work outdoors in all weathers.
