Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Witham is hiring a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) on a fixed term contract for 12 months. The role pays £13.68 per hour (paid monthly) plus overtime, with 37 hours per week across a 5-day rota, including Sundays at Chelmsford Delivery Office.

You will sort letters and parcels at the delivery office, deliver by van and on foot in your local area, and build strong relationships with customers while working outdoors in all weather. Full training is provided.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence required.
• Able to pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances.
• Reliable and self-motivated.
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service.
• Comfortable outdoors and independent.
