Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Bodmin is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to join our daytime delivery team. You will sort letters and parcels at the delivery office, deliver post by van and on foot in your local area, and build strong relationships with customers while working outdoors in all weather.

The role involves a rotating shift pattern, weekend work, and driving a Royal Mail van daily. Full training and a uniform are provided, with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

Full manual UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points)
Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment
Physically fit and able to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills, and lift/carry 10kg+ mailbags
Reliable and self-motivated
Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment
Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service
Comfortable working outdoors and independently

Responsibilities
