Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Gosport is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) on a fixed-term basis to deliver letters and parcels. You will work 35 hours per week across 5 days in 7, with a rotating schedule and training provided.

Role includes a full uniform, a Royal Mail van, and an assessment before driving. You’ll perform outdoor deliveries in all weather and engage with the community while upholding high service standards.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence.
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and capable of long-distance walking.
• Reliable and self-motivated.
• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area.
