Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Leicester is looking for a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to join the team. You will sort mail, deliver letters and parcels by van and on foot in your local area, and build strong relationships with customers while working outdoors in all weathers.

This physically demanding role requires a full manual UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points) and the ability to pass a driving assessment.

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points).
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills, and lift 10kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable and self-motivated; strong organisation and resilience.
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service; comfortable outdoors and independently.

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
