Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Broadstairs is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to deliver letters and parcels on a 32-hour week contract. You will work on a rotating shift, including some weekends, with full training and a uniform provided.

You’ll walk and drive daily, be physically active outdoors, and build relationships with customers while handling a high volume of mail and parcels in all weather. Training and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Able to pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances.
• Reliable and self-motivated in a busy environment.
• Customer-focused and able to work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area.
• Build relationships with customers.
• Work outdoors in all weather.
