Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Fordingbridge is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to deliver letters and parcels on a fixed-term basis. You will work a 37-hour week on a rotating shift, including some weekends, with a daily driving task and outdoor duties across the local area.

You will complete training, wear a uniform, and operate a red Royal Mail van. Candidates must hold a full manual UK driving licence, be physically fit, and comfortable working outdoors in all weathers.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence required.
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills, and lift 10kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable and self-motivated with strong organisation.
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service.
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently.
