Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Clitheroe is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) for a fixed-term 9-month contract. You will deliver letters and parcels by van and on foot across your local area, building relationships with customers and communities served.

You will work outdoors daily on a rotating shift schedule, including weekends, in a physically active role. The position offers a supportive training environment with a 35-hour work week and a shift pattern from 08:30 to 15:30.

Qualifications

• Must have a full manual UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points) and be willing to drive a Royal Mail van.
• Reliable, self-motivated and customer-focused with strong organisation.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather and walk long distances.
• Drives and delivers letters/parcels safely and supports customers on routes.
