Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Kilmarnock is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) on a fixed-term contract for 9 months. You will sort letters and parcels, deliver by van and on foot, and build relationships with customers on routes across KA1 3AA.

This role is outdoors and physically demanding, with rotating shifts and some weekend work. Training is provided and you will join a friendly team delivering mail with pride in service.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence required
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently
