Job summary

Royal Mail is looking for a Postie in Nottingham to deliver letters and parcels as part of a fixed term 9-month contract. You’ll sort mail, drive a Royal Mail van, and deliver in your local area, building relationships with customers while working outdoors in all weather.

Shifts include weekends and rotating hours, with training provided. The role requires a full UK manual driving licence (6 points max), ability to pass a driving assessment, and physical fitness for long-distance walking and

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence required with up to 6 penalty points.
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, stairs/hills, and lifting 10 kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable and self-motivated with strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment.
