Job summary

Royal Mail in Retford is hiring a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) for a 30-hour week on a rotating schedule, including weekends. You will deliver letters and parcels by van and on foot, building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• A full UK manual driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points) and registered to your name/address.
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit for long walks, stairs/hills, and lifting 10 kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable, self-motivated and well-organised in a busy environment.
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area.
