Job summary

Royal Mail in London is recruiting a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) on a fixed-term contract to cover an active delivery area. The role involves outdoor work, 30 hours per week, with rotations across weekdays and Sundays, including a Christmas period schedule.

You will be trained, issued a uniform and a Royal Mail van, and will deliver letters and parcels while building customer relationships. A full manual UK driving licence is required and you must be able to drive in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence required.
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van and pass driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances.

Responsibilities
