Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a motivated Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to join the West London Delivery Centre. You will deliver letters and parcels by van and on foot across your local area, building relationships with customers and ensuring trusted service.

You'll work a rotating shift schedule, including some weekends, with full training, a uniform and an iconic red van provided. The role is physically demanding but rewarding, outdoors in all weather and in busy everyday moments.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points)
• Willingness to drive Royal Mail van and pass driving assessment
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances (up to 12 miles) and lift 10kg+ mailbags
• Reliable, self-motivated with strong organisation and resilience
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area
• Build relationships with customers
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Deliver high volumes of mail in busy, time-pressured days
