Royal Mail is hiring a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) in West London to deliver letters and parcels. The role involves a rotating shift schedule, weekends, and full training with a uniform and a red Royal Mail van.

You will be outdoors for long periods, walking long distances and driving daily. Excellent service and community contact are key, with 37 hours per week and a starting hourly rate of £16.24, plus overtime.

Qualifications

• Must have a full manual UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Be physically fit and able to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills, and lift/carry 10kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisation and resilience with a customer‑focused approach.

Responsabilités

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area.
• Build relationships with customers and provide great service.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
