Job summary

Royal Mail in London is seeking a Part-time Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to join our frontline delivery team. You will sort letters and parcels at the Stockwell Delivery Office, then deliver by van and on foot across your local area, building strong customer links.

The role involves outdoor work, a rotating schedule including weekends, and full training. You will drive a Royal Mail van daily, with shifts starting early and finishing in the afternoon, on a 30-hour week, across 6 days in 7.

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills, and lift 10kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable and self-motivated in a busy delivery environment.
• Strong organisation and resilience for a fast-paced role.
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service.
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently.

Responsibilities
