Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Evesham is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to deliver letters and parcels across the local area. This is a fixed term contract for 9 months, with 30 hours per week on a 5-in-7 shift, including weekends.

You'll work a rotating rota and may be required to work Sundays at Worcester Delivery Office. You’ll receive full training, a uniform, and a red Royal Mail van to help you serve the community outdoors in all weathers.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK manual driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Be willing to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances and lift mailbags.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area.
• Build relationships with customers.
• Work outdoors in all weathers.
