Job summary

Royal Mail Group is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) in Ashbourne for a 9-month fixed-term contract. You will sort and deliver letters and parcels, working 30 hours per week across a 5 days in 7 rota, including Sundays, with some weekends and outdoor work.

You'll drive a Royal Mail van, walk routes, and build relationships with customers while enjoying comprehensive benefits and a dependable shift pattern. Full training and a company van are provided.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points)
• Ability to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances outdoors
• Reliable and self-motivated with good organisation

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area
