Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Bracknell is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to deliver letters and parcels in Bracknell on a rotating shift. This permanent role is 30 hours per week, across Monday to Sunday, with duties from 08:00 to 16:00 when on duty.

You’ll work outdoors, drive a Royal Mail van daily, and build strong relationships with customers while meeting demand in all weather.

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points).
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills and lift 10kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable and self-motivated with good organisation.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area.
• Build relationships with customers and work outdoors in all weathers.
• Handle and deliver a high volume of mail efficiently within route deadlines.
