Job summary

Royal Mail Group is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) for Hereford. You will sort letters and parcels, deliver by van and on foot in your local area, and build relationships with customers on a rotating schedule that includes weekends.

The role is fixed-term for 12 months, with 37 hours per week, 08:00–16:00, and paid overtime. Full training provided and you’ll be part of a trusted postal service in Hereford.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence (full) with up to 6 penalty points.
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances and lift 10kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable, self-motivated and well-organised in a busy environment.
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area.
