Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Diss is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to deliver letters and parcels on a fixed-term contract of 10 months. The role is 17.5 hours per week, across Tuesday to Saturday with early starts (05:30am–9:00am). You’ll be active, work outdoors, and serve your local community.

Full training, a uniform, and a Royal Mail van are provided. A full manual UK driving licence and a driving assessment are required, with overtime available.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Must be willing to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances and carry mailbags.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area.
• Build relationships with customers and work outdoors.
