Job summary

Royal Mail Heathfield Delivery Office is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) on a fixed-term 6-month contract, 30 hours/week, rotating shifts 08:00-15:00 or 14:00-21:00, with some weekends. Salary £13.68 per hour, paid monthly, plus overtime. You will sort letters, deliver by van and on foot in the local area, and build relationships with customers.

A full manual UK driving licence and the ability to pass a driving assessment are essential. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence required
• Willingness to drive Royal Mail van and pass driving assessment
• Physically fit for long walks and lifting 10kg+ mailbags
• Reliable and self-motivated

Responsibilities
