Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring flexible delivery drivers (temporary) in the UK. You’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels by van and on foot across your round, with shifts that fit around your lifestyle.

The role involves walking substantial distances, driving a Royal Mail van, and passing a driving assessment on start. Competitive pay rates apply with various shifts.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; must be able to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area, on foot and by van.
• Drive the Royal Mail delivery vehicle and complete route parts on foot to provide excellent service.
• Deliver all items safely, including election materials and restricted items per Royal Mail standards.
