Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible temporary postal delivery drivers. You’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels on your round, with parts of the route completed on foot and in a van, come rain or shine.

Ideal candidates hold a full UK driving licence with no more than six points, are physically fit to walk long distances (up to 20,000 steps per day), and can adapt to changing shifts.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk up to 20,000 steps a day, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary and require team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels on your route, with parts completed on foot and in a van.
• Safely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items in line with Royal Mail standards.
