Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring a Leyland Delivery Office driver to deliver letters and parcels across the local area. You will drive a Royal Mail van and also cover parts of your route on foot, staying active all day.

The role requires a full, manual UK driving licence with up to 6 points, and the ability to walk long distances while handling a mailbag weighing up to 16kg. Shifts vary and flexibility is essential.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary and require adapting at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area.

• Securely deliver all items and handle election materials in line with standards.
