Job summary

Royal Mail in Shepperton is hiring a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) on a 9-month fixed-term contract. You'll deliver letters and parcels, drive a Royal Mail van, and work outdoors across a 37-hour week on a rotating schedule, including weekends.

You'll need a full manual UK driving licence (up to 6 penalty points), be physically fit to walk long distances, and be reliable with a customer-focused approach. Overtime is paid and training provided.

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points).
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills, and lift/carry 10kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable, self-motivated and well-organised.
