Sumer Group's Early Careers Trainee Programme offers hands-on experience in our Accounts team, with a clear path to professional qualification. You'll train under the Sumer Academy while supporting real client work and completing your AAT or ACA studies.

You'll be part of a supportive cohort, receive paid study leave and mentoring, and have opportunities to grow beyond qualification as you build a long-term career in accountancy.

Qualifications

• Strong A-Level or equivalent academic history.
• GCSE English C/5 and Maths B/6 or equivalent.
• Proactive communicator with clients and colleagues.
• Eagerness to learn and develop in accountancy.

Responsibilities

• Join a friendly Accounts team working with a range of clients on day-to-day tasks.
• Gain hands-on experience in Accounts from day one and grow responsibilities as you progress.
• Work directly with clients, contribute to projects and learn how successful businesses operate.
• Receive technical training and personal skills development to support long-term career growth.
