Sumer Group in Leeds is seeking an Early Careers Trainee to join a friendly professional team. You will gain hands-on experience in Audit, Accounts or Tax, starting with training and study toward professional qualifications.

You’ll be part of the Sumer Academy, combining online and in-person learning with mentoring and cohort training to build both technical and soft skills for a long-term career in accountancy.

Qualifications

• Strong A-Level or equivalent academic history.
• GCSE English C/5 and Maths B/6 (or equivalent).
• Effective communicator, collaborative, time efficient, problem solver, results focused, keen to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with audits, accounts or tax tasks as part of a training contract.
• Work with clients and participate in group-wide training through the Sumer Academy.
• Develop technical and soft skills to progress toward professional qualifications.
