Sumer Group in Chesterfield is inviting applications for our Early Careers Trainee Programme designed for those starting a career in accountancy. You'll learn on the job across audit, accounts or tax, train under the Sumer Academy, and work with a friendly client-facing team from day one.

The programme combines practical experience with professional study (AAT or ACA), with paid study leave, mentoring and cohort training to develop technical and soft skills for a long-term career.

Responsibilities

• Join a friendly team and gain hands-on experience in Audit or Accounts.
• Assist with preparing accounts, supporting audits, or providing tax/business advice.
• Work directly with clients and contribute to projects.
• Develop both technical and soft skills through the Sumer Academy.
