Job summary

Sumer Group invites applications for its Early Careers Trainee Programme, designed to launch your career in accountancy. You'll gain hands-on experience in Audit, Accounts or Tax and study towards a qualification (AAT, ICAS or ATT) while being supported by the Sumer Academy.

You'll work in a friendly team, join a group-wide cohort, and benefit from full study support, mentoring, and exposure to diverse clients and projects. Start date is September 2027 in Grangemouth.

Qualifications

• Strong A-Level or equivalent with Grade C in English and Grade B in Maths (National 5 or equivalent).
• Effective communicator with clients and colleagues.
• Collaborative team player who shares ideas.
• Time efficient, organized, and able to balance work and study.
• Problem solver, curious and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in Audit, Accounts or Tax with clients.
• Prepare accounts and support audits as part of the team.
• Provide insightful tax and business advice to clients.
• Develop technical and soft skills through the Sumer Academy.
