Job Opportunity: Senior Accountant - Ashford, UK

TPF Recruiting is supporting a reputable multi-sited accounting firm seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing team in Ashford, Kent. The role offers flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options, and involves managing your own client portfolio across various sectors and sizes, from sole traders to multi-million-pound companies.

The firm boasts a modern, relaxed work environment with a focus on work-life balance. They are open to both full-time and part-time applicants.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of annual financial statements
• Review of final accounts and tax adjustments
• Client meetings
• Preparation of company CT600 returns
• Partnership and self-assessment tax returns
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Supervision of junior team members
• Optional audit work for interested staff

Requirements:

• ACCA/ACA qualified or qualified by experience
• Experience with CCH, Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks is advantageous
• Portfolio management or client interaction experience is desirable
• Salary: £35,000 - £45,000, negotiable based on experience
• Benefits include 25 days' annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, study support, free parking
• Working hours: 08:30 am - 4:30 pm
