Job summary

Fletcher George is seeking an ACA or ACCA qualified Accountant for a role based in the Surrey office (Leatherhead). You will work with the senior management team, manage a client portfolio, review junior staff work and help develop their skills in a challenging, varied practice environment.

Joining an international firm with a strong reputation, you will use Sage and Xero, handle UK and multinational reporting, VAT and PAYE advisory, and support startups while contributing to system

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with experience in practice.
• Review the management accounts for UK and multinational companies.
• Advising on VAT and PAYE matters.
• Assisting startups in all aspects of financial support.
• Implementation of accounting and computerized financial systems.
• UK financial reporting for limited companies, sole traders and LLPs.
• Multi-currency accounting.
• Providing general business advice to clients.
• The firm uses modern systems, including Sage and Xero.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing the management accounts for UK and multi-national companies, prepared by staff within the department
• Advising on VAT and PAYE matters
• Assisting start-ups in all aspects of financial support
• Implementation of accounting and computerised financial systems
• UK financial reporting for limited companies, sole traders and LLPs
• Project work, including investigations and the occasional secondments to clients
• Multi-currency accounting
• Providing general business advice on a wide range of subjects to clients
• The firm uses modern systems, including Sage and Xero.
