Job summary

Fletcher George Financial Recruitment is seeking an ACA or ACCA-qualified Accounts Supervisor for a well-established international firm of accountants based in Leatherhead. The role offers hybrid working and a salary of £45,000 to £53,000, along with an excellent benefits package.

You will manage a client portfolio, mentor junior staff, and review their work while contributing to UK and multinational reporting, VAT and PAYE guidance, and the implementation of accounting systems.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification with practice experience.
• Experience reviewing junior staff work and providing feedback.

Responsibilities

• Review UK and multinational management accounts prepared by staff.
• Advise on VAT and PAYE matters.
• Assist startups with financial planning and support.
• Implement accounting systems and computerised processes.
• UK financial reporting for various entity types (UK, LLPs, sole traders).
• Engage in project work and occasional client secondments.
• Handle multi-currency accounting.
• Provide general business advice to clients.

Accounts Supervisor Leatherhead
£45,000 - £53,000 | Hybrid working | Excellent Package

Join awell-established international firm of accountants with an excellent reputation in the UK and abroad. They have a career opening based in the Surrey office for an ACA or ACCA Qualified Accountant with experience in Practice, to work closely with the senior management team.

The role is challenging and varied, as well as managing your client portfolio, you will be responsible for developing more junior staff and reviewing the quality of their work. Fletcher George are now arranging interviews.

The key responsibilities are as follows:

• Reviewing the management accounts for UK and multinational companies, prepared by staff within the department
• Advising on VAT and PAYE matters
• Assisting startups in all aspects of financial support
• Implementation of accounting and computerised financial systems
• UK financial reporting for limited companies, sole traders and LLPs
• Project work, including investigations and the occasional secondments to clients
• Multi-currency accounting
• Providing general business advice on a wide range of subjects to clients
• The firm uses modern systems, including Sage and Xero.
