TPF Recruitment are proud to be supporting a rapidly growing firm of Chartered Accountants in Wokingham. We are seeking an Accounts Senior Manager to lead a diverse client portfolio and manage a small team, while reviewing work and advising clients alongside Directors/Partners.

ACA/ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience) with 5+ years in practice is required. The role offers progression, a supportive environment, and a salary between £60,000 and £75,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience.
• Minimum 5 years' experience within an accountancy practice.
• Experience as Client Manager, Accounts Manager, or Team Leader.
• Strong knowledge of accounts preparation, management accounts, tax and VAT.
• Experience reviewing work by junior staff.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied client portfolio with deadlines and quality standards.
• Preparing and reviewing statutory and management accounts.
• Overseeing accounting preparation, bookkeeping and VAT returns.

The Role

As an Accounts Senior Manager, you'll take responsibility for a diverse client portfolio of limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders alongside managing your own team. You'll have the autonomy to manage your clients proactively, supported by an experienced and collaborative team of Directors/Partners.

This is a client and team management focused position with an emphasis on advising clients, managing various teams and reviewing work prepared by more junior members of staff, but you may be required to get involved with more complex preparation work when your expertise is needed.

Key responsibilities include:
