Job summary

TPF Recruitment is assisting a respected local firm of accountants in Henley-on-Thames to recruit an Accounts Senior for a broad general practice role covering accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT. The role offers hybrid and flexible working.

You can be qualified or qualified by experience, with 5+ years in practice, and you will handle statutory accounts, management accounts, tax returns, VAT, and bookkeeping using Xero or QuickBooks, while coaching junior staff.

TPF Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a great local firm of Accountants, based in Henley-on-Thames, who are looking for an Accounts Senior to join their team in a general practice position across accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT.

They're looking for either a qualified or qualified by experience Accounts Senior to join them in a progressive and rewarding career. You will have lots of autonomy and our client will provide study support as required as well as hybrid and flexible working.

You will be responsible for:

• Preparation of statutory accounts
• Assistingwith management accounts production
• Personal tax, corporate tax and VAT returns
• Generalbookkeepingdutiesusing Xero or Quickbooks
• Coaching and mentoring junior staff members and trainees

Commutable from Reading, Maidenhead, Wokingham, High Wycombe, Didcot, Beaconsfield and surrounding areas

Requirements

• You will have 5+ years experience within an accountancy practice.
• You will be AAT / ACA/ ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
• You will have hands on experience of accounts, tax and VAT preparation.
• £40,000 - £46,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
