Job summary

Lloyd Barnes Recruitment in Truro is seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join a leading South West accountancy practice. The role offers hybrid working and the chance to work with a diverse client portfolio across sectors.

You will prepare financial information, produce management accounts, and assist with tax compliance while building strong client relationships and guiding junior staff. AAT/ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified candidates with practice experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• AAT, ACA, ACCA qualified or part-qualified with relevant practice experience.
• Strong background in accountancy practice.
• Confident using accounting software and Microsoft Office packages.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate accounts and financial information for a diverse client portfolio.
• Produce management accounts, forecasts, and financial reports to support clients.
• Assist with tax compliance including personal, company, and VAT returns.
• Deliver bookkeeping services including reconciliations and financial record maintenance.
• Manage workloads effectively while ensuring deadlines and budgets are achieved.
• Analyse financial data to provide insight and support business decisions.
• Build strong client relationships and collaborate with internal teams.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members while resolving technical queries.

Education

AAT/ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified
