Job summary

BC Financial Search Ltd. is seeking an Accounts Senior for an independent accountancy practice in Horsforth, Leeds. The role offers highly flexible hybrid working, with as little as one day in the office and the option to work predominantly from home.

You will prepare year-end and statutory accounts, manage accounts production from bookkeeping to completion, and assist with personal tax returns. You will liaise directly with clients, build relationships, and use Xero to review financial

Qualifications

• Experience preparing year-end accounts for various entities (limited companies, sole traders, partnerships).
• Proven ability to work directly with clients and respond to queries.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end and statutory accounts for a varied portfolio.
• Manage accounts preparation from bookkeeping to completion.
• Prepare personal tax returns and Self Assessment submissions.
• Liaise with clients and provide practical accounting advice.
• Build long-term client relationships through regular contact.
• Review bookkeeping records and reconciliations for accuracy.
• Identify issues and opportunities and discuss with seniors.
