Job summary

SI Recruitment Limited is seeking an Audit & Accounts Senior for a Leeds-area practice. You will manage a varied portfolio, lead statutory audits, prepare accounts and tax computations, and supervise junior staff.

Candidates with at least 2 years in practice and strong accounts prep skills are preferred; ACA/ACCA or AAT qualifications are an advantage. Hybrid/remote options and full study support are included in the package.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience in an accountancy practice.
• Strong experience in accounts preparation essential.
• Audit experience desirable but not essential.
• AAT/ACA/ACCA qualification or part-qualified preferred.
• Experience with Xero, QuickBooks or Sage.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Confident working independently and supervising junior colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Leading statutory audit assignments.
• Preparing year-end statutory accounts, including group accounts.
• Drafting corporation tax computations.
• Supervising and supporting junior team members and trainees.
• Assisting with bookkeeping, VAT and client accounting software.
• Supporting ad hoc work including tax planning, valuations and due diligence.
