Trial Balance Consulting Ltd. in Caldicot is seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join a forward-thinking accountancy practice. The role offers flexible working arrangements and the chance to contribute to a growing team.

You will prepare and review statutory accounts, corporation tax, personal tax and VAT, while mentoring junior members and developing your career in a modern, collaborative firm.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA preferred; qualified by experience also considered.
• Experience in accounting practice is essential.
• Comfortable with cloud or modern practice technology is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and review statutory accounts for various client types.
• Prepare corporation tax, personal tax and VAT returns.
• Provide practical accounting and tax advice to clients.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate with Partners.
• Help deliver high standards of client service across the practice.

As an Accounts Senior, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
• Preparing corporation tax, personal tax and VAT returns
• Building strong, long-term relationships with clients, providing practical accounting and taxation advice
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team
• Working closely with the Partners to deliver a consistently high standard of client service
• Embracing cloud technology and helping to improve processes across the practice
• Identifying opportunities to add further value to clients as their businesses grow

The successful Accounts Senior will:

Ideally be full or part qualified ACA or ACCA, although those who are qualified by experience will also be considered. For this Accounts Senior position, previously gained experience within an accountancy practice is essential.
