Job summary

Trial Balance is recruiting an experienced Semi Senior or Senior to join a successful practice. You will manage a varied workload including statutory accounts, management accounts and bookkeeping for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

The role involves VAT and tax compliance and guiding clients through online reporting systems (MTD). Applicants should have a solid practice background and may be enrolled in AAT, ACA or ACCA, with full support from the employer.

Qualifications

• Experience in an accountancy practice environment.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and client-facing skills.
• Willingness to undertake professional studies with employer support.

Trial Balance has been assigned to recruit an experienced Semi Senior or Senior to join a very successful and well run firm of Accountants with a well established client base. Working with a portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, you will undertake a varied workload of statutory accounts preparation, management accounts and bookkeeping, VAT and tax compliance, as well as assisting your clients with business related queries and the transition to online reporting systems in accordance with MTD.

You will need to have a strong background in an accountancy practice environment to succeed in this role, and you may have completed or be undertaking AAT, ACA or ACCA studies, which will be fully supported by my client. You will also need to be very well presented, articulate and confident, as the role will involve significant contact with your client portfolio.
