Job summary

TPF Recruitment, Kent’s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, is working on behalf of a growing firm of chartered accountants based in Maidstone. They seek an Accounts Semi Senior to join their team and work with sole traders, partnerships and ltd companies on management accounts, statutory accounts and tax services.

You will prepare management accounts, assist with financial statements and corporation tax returns, liaise with clients and HMRC, and help improve workflows while

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in accounts and management accounts.
• Qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and taxation.
• Experience with cloud accounting software (QuickBooks and Xero) is essential.
• Study support for AAT/ACA/ACCA available.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Management Accounts for a diverse client base.
• Assist with statutory financial statements for clients.
• Prepare Corporation Tax and Self-Assessment tax returns.
• Liaise with clients and HMRC to resolve queries.
• Identify process improvements and efficiencies.
• Train and mentor junior team members.
