Job summary

Pro-Talent in Folkestone, Kent, is seeking an Accounts Semi-Senior. You will look after bookkeeping, VAT and year-end accounts for a portfolio of clients from sole traders to limited companies, working from clients' records.

Part-qualified AAT/ACA/ACCA or studying is required; 2–3 years' practice experience; you will collaborate with seniors and managers to meet deadlines and budgets, with benefits and local career growth.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or studying toward AAT/ACA/ACCA and able to progress.
• 2–3 years' experience in practice.
• Strong bookkeeping, VAT and year-end accounts experience.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office.
• Organised and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping and preparing accounts for clients.
• Preparing VAT returns.
• Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Helping with personal and corporation tax returns.
• Collaborating with seniors to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Helping improve team processes.
