TPF Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a well-established independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Eastleigh, who are looking to recruit an Accounts Semi-Senior to join their friendly and growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous accountancy practice experience who is looking to develop their technical skills, gain greater client exposure, and progress their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a UK accountancy practice.
• Experience preparing accounts for varied business entities.
• Studying AAT/ACA/ACCA or willing to begin a professional qualification (study support provided).
• Strong communication and organisational skills with a proactive approach.
• Salary £28,000-£36,000 depending on experience and qualification status.
• Full study support for AAT/ACA or ACCA.

Responsibilities

• Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Assisting with corporation tax and self-assessment tax returns.
• Producing management accounts for a range of clients.
• Supporting bookkeeping and VAT return preparation.
• Liaising directly with clients to answer queries and build relationships.
• Working closely with senior team on a varied client portfolio.
• Developing technical knowledge and taking on additional responsibility as experience grows.
