They seek an Accounts Semi Senior to provide essential accounting support across a diverse client base, including financial statements and tax compliance. You will work closely with senior staff to prepare statements, manage client records, and contribute to improving processes while staying updated on UK tax rules.

Qualifications

• Experience in an accountancy practice is preferred.
• Proficiency with UK GAAP and taxation basics.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, management accounts, and other reports.
• Gather financial information from clients and ensure accuracy in accounting records.
• Support senior with tax compliance tasks, including VAT returns and corporation tax computations.
• Use accounting software to maintain client records and streamline workflow.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet client deadlines and deliver high-quality service.
• Identify areas for process improvement and suggest efficiency solutions.
• Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and tax laws.
• Develop strong client relationships and address inquiries promptly.
• Contribute to team meetings and share insights to improve service delivery.
