Job summary

Pro Talent seeks an Accounts Semi-Senior for their Folkestone office, handling bookkeeping, VAT and year-end accounts for a portfolio of clients.

You will work from client records and support personal and corporation tax returns, liaising with seniors to meet deadlines. Part-qualified or studying with 2–3 years in practice is preferred, with strong Excel and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

Got a few years in practice behind you and know your way around bookkeeping, VAT and year-end accounts? This Folkestone role is a chance to take on your own clients and keep building towards qualification.

ABOUT THE FIRM

My client is a well-established local practice that's part of a large UK and Ireland accountancy and business advisory group. It's a friendly, close-knit office working with local businesses, but with the training, resources and specialist colleagues of a much bigger organisation behind it.

THE ROLE

You'll look after the bookkeeping, VAT and year-end accounts for a portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, working from the clients' own records. You'll also help with personal and corporation tax returns, working closely with the seniors and managers to get everything done on time.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
