ProTalent is recruiting for an Accounts Semi-Senior in Haywards Heath, West Sussex. This hybrid role offers a mix of client work and professional development as you advance through your exams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

• Helping with corporation tax and VAT returns.
• Supporting audit engagements, including fieldwork.
• Dealing directly with clients by phone and email.
• Helping and guiding junior team members.

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

ABOUT THE FIRM

My client is a well-established local practice that's part of a large UK and Ireland accountancy and business advisory group. It's a friendly, close-knit office, but you've got the training, resources and specialist colleagues of a much bigger organisation behind you, which is a great setup when you're still building your skills.

THE ROLE

You’ll prepare year-end accounts and tax computations for a portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, working closely with the seniors and managers. There's also some audit fieldwork, so you get a broader grounding than a pure accounts role. As you grow, you’ll start helping the juniors too.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
