Job summary

Streets is a modern accountancy practice recruiting an experienced Accounts Semi-Senior to join a collaborative team in the UK. You will prepare year-end accounts and draft tax computations for a varied client base, liaising with clients to resolve queries professionally.

The role supports professional training with a hybrid working model after probation and full-time hours. AAT qualification with ACA/ACCA progression is valued.

Qualifications

• AAT qualified with optional ACA/ACCA progression.
• Experience in General Practice is preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting standards would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Liaise with clients to resolve queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Complete all assignments within the allocated budget and on time.
• Produce draft tax computations for clients.
• Produce year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies in accordance with the relevant accounting standards.
• Prepare schedules for tax returns.
• Complete VAT returns.

Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Accounts Semi-Senior to join our team. You will work closely with clients and colleagues alike, preparing year end accounts for a varied client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Liaise with clients to resolve queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Complete all assignments within the allocated budget and on time.
